MIHR Theatre and Gabrielle Neuhaus Physical Theatre _ Lavash

Lavash is the Armenian traditional bread, and the performance reveals the process of its preparation and shows its cultural value. In the performance, the lavash is a separate entity, which suffers the Genocide that has left a large dark spot in the history of Armenians and Jews. Culture in all its forms is the foundation from which the nation is born, and the preparation of bread contains the secret of life and survival. The performance was created to commemorate the Armenian Genocide.
