Total boredom lies at the roots of everything.
They have met at work, in TELEPORTERS.com company which sells teleporting, disintegrating and dream creating devices. They have started to earn some decent money for a living and decided to embark on a singing career. This is how MIĄŻSZ was created. Money they earn allow them to play regular concerts in Poland. The group does not have to play music on barges, boulevards, under the bridges or dissipate their talents during wedding gigs.
MIĄŻSZ band was created in 2008, but songs they play have been written in 80’s and 90’s as well.
THEY HAVE DECIDED TO FOCUS ON THE CONTENT, NOT THE FORM, AND THEY PRAISE POLISH MUSIC ABOVE ALL, OBVIOUSLY !
(…) it was difficult to find genuinely original and crazy band in Lublin, the band with carefully thought-out image, bold lyrics and twisted music. Miąższ definitely fills the gap. The band is open-minded and wants to meet expectations of the audience – 60’s rules. During the Night of Culture, Lublin had an opportunity to listen to the band for the first time. Fans will find a stupendous dose of sense of humour in their lyrics. Some of the verses are wonderfully perverse: “ I need to obtain an ID for love” or „cream to blow-the city up,” Their music combines reggae, dub and a solid portion of the so called avant-pop, a little bit of jazz and bosa nova.
