Joe Alter has been a student, performer, choreographer, and teacher in the field of contemporary dance for over 20 years. He received his Master of Fine Arts from The Ohio State University with an emphasis in choreography and dance technology. His works have been performed at The Kitchen, The Sylvia and Danny Kaye Playhouse, the and 92nd St. Y Harkness Center for Dance in New York City and internationally in Germany, throughout Poland, and Yugoslavia. In addition Mr. Alter created the Polish Project, a regional outreach program designed to investigate the creative process with disadvantaged youth throughout Poland. Currently Mr. Alter is an assistant professor of dance at San Diego State University.

Elizabeth Swallow has performed with Dance Alloy under Artistic Director, Mark Taylor and with choreographers Terry O’Connor, David Rouseve, Nina Martin and Nancy McCaleb. Her choreography has been presented by San Diego Museum of Contemporary Arts, The Academy of Performing Arts, as well as Sushi Performance and Visual Arts. Currently Elizabeth is a member of McCaleb Dance. This is her first performance working with choreographer Joe Alter

Aleksander Kościów, composer. In 1998 graduated from the Warsaw Music Academy under the tutelage of prof. M. Borkowski (composition) and prof. B. Sroczyński (viola). At present he teaches counterpoint and orchestration in the Department of Composition. His works have been performed at many festivals and contemporary music events across Poland as well as in Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Japan, Italy and France. Since 1999 he has collaborated with Joe Alter.

Participation of Joe Alter Dance Group in the International Dance Theatres Festival in Lublin is supported by San Diego State University.
