“Territory” is a performance about the need to define one’s identity through the lens of time and space. The protagonists seek a sense of control – over themselves, others, and the territory they share. They strive to tell their stories in their own voices, competing for dominance of perspective. The piece examines the strategies of expansion pursued by each generation, set against a culture where time and space are perceived as increasingly scarce.
