Jakub Mędrzycki – Moving Lands

“Moving Lands” is a journey through events over which we have no influence. The work touches on what is changeable and unstable. The dancers curiously look for the announcement of the next step while experiencing their own individual journey. We say the only thing that does not change is variability. The world we live in is gaining momentum, which increases our need for stability. On one hand we want constant progressiveness but on the other hand it terrifies us.
Two performers search, transform and develop their relationship between themselves through movement. Our search concerned the dehumanized way of traversing space and the impact of this way of moving on the two bodies composition. It is these two bodies that represent unity and separateness, dependence and independence, attraction and repulsion.

Iza Zawadzka – Ni to Baba, ni to Chłop

Set, oh sun, if you must set,
For our legs ache from walking in this field.
Our legs ache from walking, our arms ache from working,
Set, oh sun, if you must set.

“Ni to Baba, ni to Chłop” is a quiet struggle between what is visible and what is hidden. As we traverse the boundaries of our identity in solitude, we grapple daily with the elusive desire to find ourselves. Here, movement becomes the language of unspoken words, and the body – a space where a different truth takes shape, concealed behind everyday life. Ni to Baba, ni to Chłop is a reflection on human nature and the inner conflict between the self and the surrounding world.

Berenika Woś – …and from the beginning

“…and from the beginning” is an étude inspired by events from life. Everyone has their safe place to which they return, where they find moments of respite after the various events of everyday life. Despite the breath and shelter it gives us, life moves on, and everything starts again. We, on the other hand, must face the new challenges that come our way.

Agnieszka Sikorska – Not a place but a state

I get lost and find myself again. Once more I am in the same place. I am walking in circles. Returning to the starting point. How to leave this self-repeating loop?
In the solo “Not a place but a state” choreography becomes the creation of new ways in the inner structures. It brings closer the feeling of security. It is a constant attempt of rebuilding the erased or never created connections. Repeated, each time, it discovers a new perspective on the surrounding reality, encompassing possibilities and potentials.

Anastazja Yembulaeva – Space, Time, Awareness, Love, and Interest

“The beginning of this space, in which time and temporary awareness exist, holds love within it, and for the sake of interest, we seek. So what is this all about?”
The idea of the work is based on five poems I wrote 6 years ago, which now manifest in movement. For me, these 5 aspects are the foundation of life.
I work with improvisation “here and now,” which allows me for the expression of that unique atmosphere created between me and the audience.
